I have finally got around to compiling the list of predictions for 2012.
Of course the primary concern is the end of the Mayan Calendar in 2012 which many people believe could spell the end of the world.
Most of the psychics say that the world will not end in 2012, and will just continue as before. For the many theories surrounding the 2012 Mayan prophecy, your best bet is 2012 Reviews which reports on all the theories and predictions.
So let’s kick the whole article off with the most successful psychic of 2011, Blair Robertson, who correctly predicted the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
He also predicted the two devastating New Zealand earthquakes, the terrible plane crash that claimed the life of Polish president Lech Kaczynski, World Cup events, accurately predicting the Oscars, and more.
I predict that the Republicans will win the Presidential election.
A horrifying premonition: spandex will make a comeback near the end of 2012.
Volcanic activity in the Northwest will be big news and I feel there will be a very good chance of a large eruption.There will be a bombing on a cruise ship this year.
I predict North Carolina will be slammed and heavily damaged by storms in April.

Watch for an assassination attempt on an African leader in the next few weeks that will make headlines.

News of a thwarted “terrorist” attack at the summer Olympics will have the world on edge.
I predict a baby for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this year.

Exciting Discoveries of 2 new planets with possible life forms will be announced by NASA this year.
South Africa will continue to prosper after the discovery of a major new gold/diamond mine and China will start to be pushed out of the region.
Iran will see a nuclear related explosion to one of its 2 reactors this year due to an accident, or sabotage.
The Euro will not fail as it regains a place as a strong international currency in the first half of the year.
A conflict or battle in outer space will occur this year between 2 countries, most likely involving Russia or Iran.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy & wife Carla will have a new son in 2012-2013.
Illness seen around former U.S. Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger this year relating to a heart attack.
In the Philippines, China moves to take over or influence the area, civil war breaks out between gangs or political forces in the Southern region.

Recently we had the prediction of some scientists that the world would end due to the the Large Hadron Collider. I have also noticed a growing number of people talking about the Mayan calendar and what could possibly happen in 2012. Throw into the mix other prophecies of Christian groups, cult groups and others, and we have some very interesting times ahead.
I decided to have a look at some prophecies that weren’t quite prophetic, as well as a couple of future ones which we may get to see for ourselves. Here is a short list of them:
1900
Over 100 members of the Russian cult Brothers and Sisters of the Red Death committed suicide om November 13th in preparation for the end of the world.
Antonio Conselheiro from Brazil convinced his followers that the world would end by the end of 1900.
Father Pierre Lachèze similarly foresaw the apocalypse during this year – eight years after the Temple in Jerusalem was to be rebuilt. Neither have yet occurred.
1925
Margaret Rowan claimed that the angel Gabriel appeared to her in a vision. He revealed that the world would end at midnight on 13 February. This also happened to be a Friday the 13th. Nothing happened.
1936
Prophet and psychic, Edgar Cayce believed that the world would end through a reconfiguration of the continents. With all the upheavals and the rise of Atlantis, much of California would crumble into the sea and problems on the poles would cause volcanoes in the tropics. He later amended the prediction to 1998.
1967
This year was a bonus year for the apocalypse. There were a number of prophecies and predictions made from people around the world. I have just given a few of them:
Jones preached of an imminent nuclear holocaust, and that the surviving elect would then create a new socialist Eden on earth. In 1965, he predicted this would occur on July 15, 1967. It didn’t happen and he went on to inspire over 900 people to commit suicide in 1978 in Jonestown, Guyana.
Sun Myung Moon, leader of the Unification Church a.k.a. Moonies, also predicted the end of the world in 1967. This he later amended to 1980. He is stil alive, although he has naded over control of the church to his son.
George van Tassel claimed that in a channeling session, an alien entity named Ashtar had told him that the southeastern US would be destroyed by a Soviet nuclear attack by Aug 20, 1967. This didn’t happen either.
Danish cult leader Knud Weiking claimed that a being named Orthon was speaking to him, saying that there would be a nuclear war by Christmas 1967 that would disturb the Earth’s orbit. His followers built a survival bunker in preparation for this catastrophe. Continue reading »
